  Looking for something nice to say. Hmmm...The bathrooms were clean. The staff is very slow, and doesn't get your order right. Been the same all three times I stopped here. We just keep driving now and go to the next one.

  Pros- food and relatively clean restroom
  Cons- They marked our our order as complete without giving it to us, causing excessive wait. When brought to their attention, they hastily filled our order and forgot sauce and a side of apples. The man behind me told them they forgot his chicken nuggets. They were very busy, and the food was good, but the three flies, one fruit fly, and trash on the floor and especially under the garbage can were turn offs. Maybe it is better if you aren't there at 1pm on Saturday.

  Old Fort is a nice but small town with few restaurants/fast food choices. Our campground was 15 minutes and while we did take day trips into Ashville and Black Mountain on days when we didn't want to drive into a bigger town we decided to pick up some fast food from this McDonald's. Store looks fairly new but service and cleanliness was average to non existent. The young man who took my order was very friendly but seemed overwhelmed by the lack of staff. Food wasn't bad but McDonald's food is about average anyhow. Certainly happy Old Fort had a few places to eat at but hopefully this location will improve.
